Cosmetic Surgery
I've never really had a problem with changing your looks to make you look somewhat better. Somethimes we look better with our hair down and other times we look a mess without little mascara. Some people get tattoos to express themselves and some guys get dreads becasue girls think its hot. All of these are considered changing what you originally looked like to look like the best version of yourself, right? We all may be able to agree that we have something we want to change about ourselves, little things. But alot of people are taking this "be who you want to be" (literally) thing to far. ". . . it's harder to justify the use of a cadaver for practicing nose jobs than it is for practicing coronary bypasses," Which do you belive to be more important? Using cadavers to practice dangerous open heart surgery or using cadavers to make someones mom look younger for a few months? Im not saying that cosmetic surgery isnt important, im just saying that using these cadavers to possibly save an unhealthy persons life is MORE important than giving a Kardasian wannabe a better nose. What do you think?

Well, if the organs are still inside the body I would agree with heart surgery being more beneficial, but I think that some cadavers could go for cosmetic surgery. The numbers of cadavers that go for cosmetic surgery could be fewer than the number of cadavers that go for more useful surgery. Cadavers should still be used for cosmetic surgery, though, because surgeons need something to practice on and because cosmetic surgery can be useful for situations other than trying to fix an "ugly" nose.
ReplyDeleteA better nose or butt or anything else that is to enhance body parts is ridiculous. Cadavers, I feel, are not donated or given to science to be practiced on what make-up looks better or nose operations. Lives need to be saved yet the world want to use cadavers to operate totally different advancements. If we barely have enough cadavers as it is why are they being used for idiotic ideas? No nose or face lift is as important as saying a life or creating a better cure for the world.
